Tina's connection with music began at a very young age. Raised in a family where music was a natural part of everyday life, she grew up surrounded by creativity, performance, and artistic expression. Singing came instinctively to Tina, and from early childhood it was clear that music would play a defining role in her life.
By the age of two, Tina was already singing nursery rhymes with confidence. By three, her musical interests had begun to develop further, influenced by artists such as Gary Moore and Eric Clapton. These early inspirations introduced her to expressive, emotionally driven performance and helped shape her appreciation for music with depth, feeling, and authenticity.
At the age of eleven, Tina entered a theatre competition at Secombe Theatre and secured a winning place, marking an important milestone in her development as a performer. Inspired at the time by the powerful vocals of Celine Dion, Tina delivered a performance that highlighted both her natural vocal ability and her emerging stage presence. The achievement brought her talent to wider attention and opened new opportunities within her local music and performing arts community.
Tina’s talent was later recognised by local music professionals who operated an independent music studio. Impressed by her vocal ability and potential, they invited her to attend regular studio sessions, providing her with a supportive environment to refine her technique, build confidence, and grow as a performer.
This early recognition led to further opportunities, including an invitation to perform at the Harlequin Theatre. The experience gave Tina valuable stage exposure and further strengthened her passion for live performance. Her dedication and promise were later acknowledged through the offer of a scholarship with Stagecoach performing arts, where she continued to develop her skills in singing, performance, and stagecraft.
Tina later went on to study Music Technology before progressing into Performing Arts, broadening her understanding of music, production, and live performance. This combination of technical knowledge, vocal ability, and practical stage experience has shaped her into a versatile and well-rounded performer.
Today, Tina continues to use her voice to inspire and connect with others. As the lead singer for her faith community, she performs weekly and plays an active role in bringing music to the heart of those around her. She also sings at local community events supporting children and families, using her talent to uplift, encourage, and bring people together. It was through these community events that Tina met Ray, whose shared passion for music led to the formation of Celestial Harmony. Together, they bring warmth, sincerity, and a genuine love of performance to their music.
